Xiuhan

The Xiuhan are the ruling culture in Wonyeong, holding authority in the Engineering Bastion as Overseers, and the palace through the line of the Princess of Wonyeong. They are a progressive people, but are highly skeptical of foreigners who they believe will erode their carefully constructed way of life. They reject the Church of the Trium, and hate the Fellmen the most after a vicious attack by House Friedrich left their cities in shambles. Instead, the Xiuhan ruthlessly persecute Triumites among their populace, following a local pantheon of deities that they have maintained for thousands of years. With a strict posture on faith and foreigners, they are otherwise socially progressive, following egalitarian gender roles and expectations and progressive views on marriage and inheritance. Wonyeong has been ruled by a Princess for the last two generations, ruled currently by Princess Nashida.
